Real Time tracking
Real Time Patient tracking
Tracking the patient’s flight is as simple as clicking our link and then clicking ‘Track Patient’. Following the flight in real time allows us to monitor moment to moment conditions. We can also be more time efficient and cost effective when coordinating with the ground and medical crews. We offer this tool to our patient’s support group so they may stay informed and know when to expect the patient home.

At Stat Air, we will work closely with the Case Managers to develop a thorough transport plan that focuses on safety and comfort for the patient. We have developed a tool exclusively for our Case managers on our website to assist in the process of discharge and transport needs. As a case manager you can log on to our website and access your patients transport chart throughout the flight. Together we can access real time patient information and records, flight tracking and weather conditions, and post notes and discussions pertinent to the patients needs.

The Case Manager and Family Member Care
We understand that there are many decisions to be made by the family members for the transport. At Stat Air we will work with you and the family to help in their process.
There are 3 levels of care that we provide, here is the information that will help you choose the right medical transport option for your patients
Air Ambulance: A Fully equipped mobile ICU on a private plane. This is when time is a crucial aspect in the patients safety. Patients that qualify for air ambulance include all bls, trauma and critical care patients that have not had heart surgery within 48 hours of the flight, in labor or is hemodynamically unstable.
International Commercial Stretcher: is a cost effective option for your patients travelling abroad compared to that of private air ambulance. Commercial airlines will remove several rows to accomodate the patient and the medical equipment needed then we would curtain the area off for patient privacy. Note: This requires preauthorization and detailed coordination with the commercial airlines and may take upto 2 weeks for arrangements. Patients that qualify for this include BLS and ALS transports that may have a tracheostomy in place but not on a ventilator
Medical Escort: Patients that are simply BLS not needing critical care treatments may have an option of Commercial Medical Escort. Patients that qualify for medical escort include BLS patients that can sit up without the assistance of straps, can pivot from the waist up, may require no more than 3 liters of oxygen and can walk short distances with cane or walker.
